I am a Greensboro native, living and working in Raleigh NC, following studies of Fine Art and Religion at UNC Chapel Hill. From the intersection of these subjects i have become interested in creating a conceptual, formal practice rooted in abstraction that explores relevant subjects through more representational motifs. in this way i have focused on themes of nature, climate change, phototropism, growth and humanity so that my work can act as both a call to action and a celebration of progress as we all strive to RESOLVE our lived experiences. I have chosen to seek that resolution through the language of light and line and hope to serve my COMMUNITY in the same way through the exhibition and installation of thoughtful work. i welcome your feedback and am happy to speak more, answer questions, host studio visits etc. I am currently working from Studio 109 at ArtSpace in Raleigh, NC, available by appointment.
